Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Google's current analytics platform — replaced Universal Analytics in 2023.

GA4 is event-based (vs UA's session-based) and tracks across web + app. The interface is rougher than UA, but it's free, integrates with Search Console and Google Ads, and is the de facto standard. Setup takes 30 minutes; understanding it takes weeks.
