How much does a logo cost in the UK?

£250–£600 from a small studio for a proper logo with files and variants. £2,000+ if it's part of a full brand identity.

/ 01

The short version

A £5 marketplace logo is a font and a stock icon. What you're paying for at £350 is thinking, variants and usable files.

/ 02

What actually matters

  • Should include primary, stacked and icon-only versions.
  • Vector files (SVG/EPS) plus PNGs — not just a JPEG.
  • Colour, mono and reversed-out versions.
  • Clear usage guidance so it survives contact with printers.
  • Full identity (type, colour, applications) is a bigger, separate job.

/ 03

The bit most people get wrong

The cost of a cheap logo shows up later — when a signmaker asks for a vector file and you don't have one.

/ 04

What to do next

Check whether you have your logo as an SVG or EPS. If not, that's your first job regardless of design.
