Click-Through Rate (CTR)
The percentage of people who click your link after seeing it.
CTR is clicks divided by impressions, expressed as a percentage. In Google Search, the #1 organic result averages ~28% CTR; #10 averages ~2%. CTR matters as a ranking signal and as the lever between traffic you earned and traffic you actually convert.
