302 Redirect

A temporary redirect — search engines keep indexing the old URL.

A 302 redirect tells search engines 'this is temporary, keep the old URL indexed'. Almost always used by mistake when a 301 was intended. Symptom: you change a URL but Google keeps showing the old one in search results.
