What files should I get with my logo?

Vector (SVG and EPS or AI), plus PNGs with transparency, in full colour, single colour and reversed versions.

/ 01

The short version

Getting the wrong files is the reason people pay twice for the same logo.

/ 02

What actually matters

  • SVG for web, EPS/AI for print and signage.
  • PNG with transparent background in a few sizes.
  • Mono black and mono white versions.
  • Favicon and social profile crops.
  • Written confirmation you own the copyright.

/ 03

The bit most people get wrong

Signmakers and embroiderers need vectors. If all you have is a PNG, you'll be paying someone to redraw your own logo.

/ 04

What to do next

Check your logo folder for an SVG or EPS. If it's missing, request it from your designer.
